Pub Well Placed Canterbury A

15.14

Pub Well Placed, Canterbury.

A morning gentling with The Luvvie, now listening to Soundscapes from the very beginning of G3 in Europe – the Arrow Festival at Lichtenvoorde. The performance was in a large tent, the audience possibly the most hostile of all the hostile European audiences. This was the first show of the tour, without soundcheck, and running was the-best-you-can-get-as-soon-as-you-can-get-it. So, the only FOH recording of the Soundscapes set was the last 14 minutes, the last segment: a gentle, hovering, peaceful mood in utter contrast to the external moment.
